Welcome to St Matthew's Church, Midgham
All Sunday services start at 9.15am. On the 1st Sunday the service is Morning Worship, on the 2nd and 3rd it is Holy Communion and on the 4th Family Service. Services on the 5th Sunday rotate around the Benefice.

St Matthew's is the friendly Anglican Church for Midgham Parish. St Matthew's stands on the top of a hill overlooking the Kennet valley. Church services in Midgham date from 1622. From then until 1714 they were performed in a chapel in the park near to the former Midgham House. Mr Benjamin Buck Greene, owner of Midgham House, arranged for construction of the present church which dates from 1869. The architect was John Johnson. The Church is open every day from 9:00am – 4:30pm.

Monthly Benefice Communion
This short, quiet service of Holy Communion (without hymns) takes place on the second Thursday of each month at 9.30 am at St Matthew’s Church, Midgham and will include prayers for all the Benefice. All welcome.
Time to Pray
This 30-minute service, which includes prayers for the day and intercessions, takes place on every Thursday – except second Thursdays – at 9.30 at Midgham, followed by coffee.
