Bradfield Deanery Spiritual Development Group: The Spirituality of Handel. Wednesday 18th October 2017 at 8pm, St Mary the Virgin, Purley on Thames, RG8 8BJ, An exploration of Handel’s music by Rev Derek Spears.
Walk and Talk Friday 20th October. Nourishment for mind, body and spirit - a quiet walk in the woods and valleys and a drink in the Six Bells afterwards. Do come – everyone welcome. Meet at 12.00 noon in the car park of the Six Bells, Beenham.
Messy Church: Church, but not as you know it! Saturday 19th November: 3:30pm to 5:00pm in Woolhampton CofE School. Fun, crafts, story, celebration and refreshments. Suitable for all ages but children must be accompanied. No need to book – just turn up.

  • Today being Healthcare Sunday, pray for all those who look after the sick and infirm.
  • As we remember Luke the Evangelist on Wednesday, pray for all who spread the Gospel.
  • With Saturday being Trafalgar Day [1805] we pray for peace throughout the world.
  • With the last marriage preparation day of this year now behind us, pray for all those getting married in the near future, their wedding day and all their guests.
