These happen once a month in Aldermaston, Beenham, Midgham and Woolhampton, and are especially designed to include children and young people. It contains all the usual features of a church service – songs, a Bible reading, prayers, a talk – but is tailored to the needs of an all-age congregation. 'Anniversary candles' are shared as part of the worship and those who have been baptised in the church are invited to celebrate their baptism anniversary.
Family Communion with children's activities
Aldermaston and Beenham have a slightly shorter, family-friendly communion, where children can go and do fun activities based on the Gospel story. The Aldermaston service is at Cedars School (Church Rd, Aldermaston, RG7 4LR) for this so that we have a separate space for the children. The dates are:
9th October - Beenham, 9.15am
16th October - Aldermaston, 10.45am
11th December - Beenham, 9.15am
For details of all our services please look at our service listings.
Messy Church takes place bi-monthly on a Saturday at Woolhampton Primary School for the whole benefice.
